March 2, 2022 – Update on Bobi

Bobuubi and his family have spent the last 8 days trying to flee safely to the Ukrainian border with a surrounding country. So many of you have followed their journey and offered your support, and it has kept them going in times when they wanted to give up.

During that time they have witnessed some of the most horrific things. Things that they do not show in the media, things that you would only see in horror movies, including attacks on civilians and civilian buildings, including a hospital.

The spirit of the Ukrainian people hasn’t faltered in the face of these horrors. Instead, it has shined during this time, showing the world how a proud country stands strong whilst being attacked in such a horrific manner. On this note Bobuubi and his family have decided to stay where they are while it is safe to do so.

They are going to focus their efforts on providing humanitarian supplies and transporting families to the safety of the closest border. Bobuubi said “You all have made me into a hero, now I need to act like one.”

In cooperation with the Red Cross we are now in a position where we can provide a location where you can send packages that Bobuubi and his family could help distribute to the people of Ukraine.

Please  contact us for these details so they can notify Bobi what is en route.
